Dr. Katerina Saltiki, MD, PhD, (graduate of the Medical and Pharmacy Schools and PhD holder from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens – NKUA), has served as Clinical and Scientific Director of the Thyroid Neoplasms Clinic at the Therapeutic Clinic of NKUA. She obtained her specialty title in Endocrinology from the Endocrinology-Diabetology Center and the Therapeutic Clinic of the Medical School of NKUA at “Alexandra” Hospital.

The most common type of thyroid cancer, including primarily papillary and follicular carcinoma
Differentiated thyroid cancer typically has a slow progression and an excellent prognosis, especially when diagnosed early. Treatment includes surgical removal and often radioactive iodine therapy, followed by close, long-term monitoring.
